Creamy Pear Pasta

Pears and walnuts are a delicious combination. In this creamy pasta, this perfect couple comes into its own. Because of the mustard and enough pepper, there is also a bit of spice in it.

Ingredients

Leek
Walnuts
Green beans

(Soy) cream
Nutmeg
Thyme
Mustard
Lemon
Onion
Garlic

Variations

For the meatlovers: bacon strips go really well with this recipe.
If you want to increase sweetness, use double the amount of pears.

Prep

15 min

  1. Dice onion and mince garlic
  2. Cut leek into rings
  3. Peel pears and cut into slices
  4. Crush walnuts into small pieces
  5. Cut off the ends of the green beans and cut them in half

Cook

20 min

Sauté onion

medium heat ~3 min

pan 2

Cook pasta and green beans

~10 min

when using frozen green beans, only add last 4 min of cooking pasta

pan 1 continued

Add garlic and leek

medium heat ~5 min, season with salt and pepper

Add (soy) cream, thyme, nutmeg and mustard

mix well ~3 min

Add pear and walnuts

~3 min

Add lemon juice and season with plenty of pepper

taste and add salt if needed, add more mustard and thyme for a stronger flavour

Mix the pasta and green beans with the sauce

    Heerlijk recept zou graag willen weten welke mosterd wordt gebruikt ivm met de smaak.
    Ik heb er druppels tabasco bij gedaan maakt het pitteger.
