
Spicy Cauliflower Penne
This American style pasta features a variety of Cauliflower Buffalo WIngs. By the way, they are already great all by themselves. Perfect soul food. The variations in sauce for their coating gives you the opportunity to tailor this recipe to your likening.

Black olives (pre-cut)

Paprika powder
Chilli sauce (sweet)
Sambal (oelek)
Smoked paprika powder

Variations
Try a hot chilli sauce or BBQ sauce for a different flavour.
Add cashews into the pasta sauce, prepare the blend in the foodprocessor.
Prep
5 min
- Cut cauliflower into small florets
- Mince garlic
- Pre-heat oven to 220°C
Cook
30 min
Mix half of the soy(cream) and half of the garlic, all of the flour and paprika powder in a large bowl
add cauliflower florets and mix until all florets are covered in batter

Spread the cauliflower florets on a baking sheet
~15 min at 220°C

After 15 min coat the cauliflower florets with chilli sauce
~15 min more at 220°C

Cook pasta in the meantime

Sauté garlic and corn
medium heat ~3 min
Add (soy) cream, black olives, sambal and smoked paprika powder
let everything simmer until warm ~3 min, season with salt and pepper
Serve pasta with the spicy cauliflower florets
